Position Objectives
MFC’s Mildura Playgroups deliver 5 Playgroups across the Mildura, Merbein and Red Cliffs area and is funded through the Department of Social Services- Children and Parenting Support. The primary purpose of the playgroups is to provide play-based activities for young children and support parents/carers to build their capacity as their child’s first educator, including connecting families to any services they may need. Playgroups are universal but aim to support families experiencing complexity and/or disadvantage. The Playgroup Facilitator/Connector is responsible for cofacilitation of playgroup sessions, contributing to planning activities and supporting playgroup families to access other support services as needed.
