Job Description
Position Objectives
The Communications Coordinator supports the development and delivery of effective, engaging, and accessible marketing and communications that promote Mallee Family Care’s services, programs, and impact.
Working across digital and traditional channels, this role supports the Communications Manager to ensure consistent messaging, strengthen brand presence, and enhance engagement with key stakeholders including clients, community members, partners, and funders.
The position contributes to raising awareness of Mallee Family Care’s work, supporting service uptake, and reinforcing its reputation as a trusted and responsive community organisation. The Communications Coordinator also plays a key role in supporting campaigns, events, and strategic initiatives aligned with organisational goals and values.
This role forms part of the Marketing and Events team which is made up of:
Formal tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism or related field.
Relevant industry experience in Communications, Public Relations or related field.
A current driver’s licence, a willingness to travel and preparedness to be accommodated overnight when required.
